Prayagraj, Dec. 4 -- Allahabad High Court had posted for next week in the hearing into the petition filed by fugitive kingpin Shubham Jaiswal in the Codeine cough syrup smuggling case.
Jaiswal, on run, had moved a petition for anticipatory bail in the cough syrup scam case.
The division bench comprising Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Achal Sachdev heard the case on Thursday and now hearing will continue next week.
However, the government informed the court that sections of the NDPS Act have been added to the case. Shubham Jaiswal, an accused in cases registered in Varanasi and Ghaziabad, filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court.
