Prayagraj, Oct. 31 -- Allahabad High Court has given relief to Abbas Ansari, the MLA son of mafia leader Mukhtar Ansari.
The High Court stayed the trial court proceedings in the model code of conduct violation case until the next hearing.
The case was heard by a single bench of Justice Sameer Jain today. The case was filed for violation of the Code of Conduct for gathering a crowd without permission.
Abbas Ansari has filed a petition seeking the cancellation of the charge sheet.
