Lucknow, July 24 -- In a significant judgement, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High court has stayed the merger of primary schools in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh till August 21.



But the court did not stay the merger process in other districts.



The opposition was constantly criticizing this decision of the government.



On Thursday, the Lucknow bench of the High Court stayed the merger of schools in Sitapur district during the hearing. Now the next hearing will be on August 21.



Earlier the single bench of the court had refused to stay the government move to merge the schools
