Prayagraj, Dec. 8 -- The Allahabad High Court has fixed January 16 as the next date of hearing for a case related to the demand for a scientific survey by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) of the ablution area (wazukhana) located in the Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi.
Due to an interim stay order given by the Supreme Court, restraining other courts from passing any effective interim or final order including survey order, arguments could not take place.
The case was heard by a single bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal, who fixed January 16 as the next date of hearing.
