Prayagraj, Oct. 10 -- The Allahabad High Court has granted a big relief to an Assistant Commissioner of GST staying any action by the government against him.
The High Court has also expressed displeasure over the government's arbitrary approach against the Assistant Commissioner Arvind Kumar and stayed the arrest of the Assistant Commissioner GST.
The order was passed by a division bench of Justice Siddhartha and Justice Prashant Mishra here today.
Earlier an FIR was filed at Khalilabad police station in Sant Kabir Nagar on October 4 against the Assistant Commissioner for allegedly given approval to a firm's registration without verification.
After this Arvind Kumar was suspended by the government.
