Kolkata, Sept. 19 -- The West Bengal Government has ordered reopening of all parks and eco-tourism centres for the visitors from September 23 and all zoos across the state for travellers from October 2 to coincide with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

However, the Covid-19 protocol to combat the pandemic would continue to be enforced on these public places, a Government notification issued on September 18 said.

" All parks and gardens, including Shibpur Botanic Garden, national parks and sanctuaries, eco-tourism centres and lodges shall be opened for public with effect from September 23, " the notification added.
