Chennai, April 8 -- All the 10 Bills passed in the Tamil Nadu Assembly and not given assent by Governor R N Ravi to which Supreme Court ruled that they were deemed to have got Mr Ravi's assent, are expected to become an Act as the DMK government has initiated steps to notify them in the Government Gazette.

The gazette notification could be expected late tonight, according to reports.

The Bills would entrust the Chief Minister to become Chancellors of all State-run Universities thereby removing the Governor who is the de-facto Chancellor, besides vesting powers with the Government to nominate Vice-Chancellors.
