Bhopal, Aug. 28 -- Leaders of all major political parties in Madhya Pradesh unanimously passed an All-Party resolution on Thursday agreeing to provide 27 per cent reservation in state government jobs to the members of the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
The resolution was passed at the All-Party meeting convened by MP Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at the CM House in Bhopal.
Besides the CM and leaders of the ruling BJP, the leaders of Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP), and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) attended the meeting.
The Congress was represented by MP Congress Chief Jitu Patwari, State Assembly Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, and senior OBC leader and member of the CWC of the All India Congress Committee, Kamleshwar Patel.
