Hubballi, Nov. 30 -- union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Sunday sharpened his attack on Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, saying the real issue within the state Congress is not breakfast meetings or public gestures, but Shivakumar's unwillingness to clearly acknowledge Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's full-term leadership.

Joshi said that if Shivakumar genuinely wants to project unity, he should have made an unambiguous statement that the Congress government is functioning under Siddaramaiah and that he will continue as Chief Minister for all five years.
