Bhubaneswar, Dec. 8 -- The success rate of Odia students in union Public Service Commission (UPSC)'s All India Civil Service Examination is left much to be desired.
Though the Odisha government has introduced a civil service coaching programme run by the higher education department, only 31 have managed to crack the coveted jobs of IAS and IPS in five years.
While 7 cracked All India civil service exam in 2019, it came down to four and five in 2020 and 2021. Likewise 7 and 8 aspirants cracked the service in 2022 and 2023, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi told the Assembly on Monday.
