Thiruvananthapuram, May 22 -- All arrangements have been completed for counting of votes polled in the Lok Sabha election for 20 seats in the state, on Thursday, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Teeka Ram Meena said here on Wednesday.

Stating that the process of counting will take 9 to 10 hours to end, the CEO said 140 counting centres were arranged in 29 counting locations in the State.

On the security aspect, the CEO said the Kerala Police will not have the entry into the counting centres.

However, the Central forces will be allowed to enter the counting centres and the Kerala Armed Police will be posted at the campus gates of the counting centres.

Kerala Police will look into the security aspect outside the counting centres, he added. ...
