Chennai, Oct. 19 -- Thanks to timely detection of a technical snag by the alert pilot,104 passengers and five crew members onboard a Bengaluru-bound Air India Expressflight had a narrow escape at the Chennai airport today.
The flight was gathering speed at the run away and was about to take off when the alertpilot detected the snag at 1035 hrs .
He immediately alerted the Air traffic control authorities and the flight was brought to thebay.
