Hyderabad, April 1 -- Alcatel, a French tech brand independently operated by TCL Communication under trademark licensing from Nokia, is set to begin its operations in India, one of the world's fastest-growing smartphone markets.

The brand will launch a smartphone with a stylus, making premium technology accessible to the mass market in India, the company said in a release on Tuesday.
