New Delhi, July 2 -- Three Indian nationals have been kidnapped by an Al-Qaeda linked terror group, Jama'at Nasr al-Islam wal-Muslimin, from the Diamond Cement Factory in Kayes, Mali, where they were employed.
The Indian government, in a statement, has voiced its deep concern over the abduction, and said it is working to facilitate the safe and early release of the three Indian Nationals.
The incident occurred on July 1, when a group of armed assailants carried out a coordinated attack at the factory premises and forcibly took three Indian nationals as hostages, the MEA statement said.
