Lucknow, Sept. 12 -- Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav today questioned the foreign policy of the country in the context of the recent violence in neighbouring Nepal.

"Our priority should be peace in the neighbouring countries and on the borders. The Indian government has failed in its foreign policy many times," he said.

Addressing a press conference, Akhilesh Yadav said the latest movement in Nepal followed similar developments in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Akhilesh said, "A lot of stories are coming out about what happened in the internal politics there. We cannot take any decision by looking at one aspect in the context of Nepal. Also, there were many other questions there - poverty, unemployment, inflation and the generation y...
