New Delhi, Jan. 4 -- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging widespread failures and injustice under what he described as "double-engine" BJP governments across several states.
In a long post on social media platform X, Yadav urged BJP supporters to introspect and question their support, saying that anyone with "patriotism, sensitivity, humanity, conscience and awareness" should look at recent developments across the country.
He alleged that in Uttarakhand, people are on the streets demanding justice for an incident involving a woman, while in Uttar Pradesh, deaths have occurred due to poisonous syrup.
