New Delhi, Oct. 19 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav today criticised the Uttar Pradesh BJP government for leaving out the names of its two Deputy Chief Ministers, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, from recent government advertisements.

Yadav questioned the significance of officials who were omitted, hinting at internal tensions within the ruling party. He suggested the omission might reflect a "dominant mindset" within the BJP leadership, noting that junior ministers were named, while the Deputy Chief Ministers were absent.

"Those who didn't get a place in the advertisement, what importance do they hold in the government?" Yadav asked in a post on his WhatsApp channel.
