Lucknow, March 10 -- The ongoing tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran are affecting India in the form of a shortage of cooking gas, with residents in Lucknow rushing to gas agencies to secure LPG cylinders.

Amid the situation, Akhilesh Yadav, national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP), has questioned the government over the shortage of cooking gas cylinders and the rising prices.
