Lucknow, Jan. 23 -- The BJP launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav over his recent statement, calling him a "shape-shifting electoral Hindu." The BJP said that it is laughable when he speaks about Sanatan culture.
BJP spokesperson Anand Dubey said on Friday that Akhilesh Yadav is a shape-shifting electoral Hindu who only dons the garb of Hindutva when elections are near.
Dubey alleged that these are the same people who stained Ayodhya with the blood of Karsevaks (Hindu volunteers). He said as soon as elections approach, the pseudo-Hindu nature of Samajwadi Party leaders comes to the fore.
