Akhilesh to support his uncle Shivpal in UP assembly polls

Lucknow, Jan. 18 -- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has reiterated his offer for his estranged uncle Shivpal Yadav that the party will not field its candidate in Jaswantnagar assembly seat in Etawah district. Shivpal Yadav heading the Pragatisheel Samajwadi party (Lohia) is presently MLA from Jaswant nagar seat.

``SP will not enter into alliance with any party for 2022 UP assembly elections and consider electoral tie up only with small political parties. The offer to my uncle Shivpal Yadav is still open and SP will not field its candidate in Jaswant nagar assembly seat and he will also be accommodated in the ministry if the SP is voted to power in 2022'', said Akhilesh Yadav in Shravasti on Monday.
