Lucknow, Sept. 2 -- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has taunted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence over a statement by Donald Trump's advisor Peter Navarro.

"There must be some reason; no one remains silent for any reason," Akhilesh said on tensions in India-US relations.

US President Donald Trump's advisor, Peter Navarro, has said that taking advantage of the Russia-Ukraine war, India is buying cheap oil from Russia and refining it and selling it to other countries, including Europe.
