Pune, Oct. 10 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today said no one will be spared if anyone tries to violate law and order and said the police have been given clear instructions to take strict action in such cases.

Speaking to reporters here on the law and order situation in the state, Pawar said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and I have discussed the situation in detail. No matter how close someone is to anyone, there will be no compromise when it comes to the law. That is our firm stand."He emphasised that maintaining law and order is everyone's responsibility.
