Nagpur, Dec. 13 -- To ease growing tension between Mahayuti alliance partners- the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction), particularly in Raigad district-Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar has stepped in to mediate.
He appealed on Saturday to leaders from both sides to exercise restraint and avoid escalating disputes.
In an effort to keep the Mahayuti strong and united, Ajit Pawar contacted Shiv Sena leaders Bharat Gogawale and Uday Samant, urging them not to allow differences to widen. He also discussed the issue with Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare.
