Beed, Nov. 25 -- A political stir has emerged in Beed district as Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's ongoing campaign rallies continue without the presence of NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) star campaigner and senior leader Dhananjay Munde. Munde's absence from all three rallies held so far - including the latest one at Siddhivinayak Complex in Beed city - has become a talking point in district political circles.
Despite holding back-to-back meetings in Ambajogai, Dharur, Majalgaon, Georai and Beed, Ajit Pawar avoided mentioning Dhananjay Munde in his speeches. Instead, Pawar sharpened his attack by alleging a massive Rs 150-crore corruption scam in Beed, warning that strict action will follow against those responsible.
