Ch. Sambhajinagar, Sept. 23 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has taken note of the heavy rainfall in Marathwada, which has caused severe losses to farmers and citizens. Sources said he would soon visit the flood-affected areas to review the situation.
The recent spell of heavy rains has led to loss of lives in some places, while many houses and livestock have also perished. Pawar said his scheduled 'Jan Samvad' programme at Khadakwasla in Pune district on September 24-25 has been postponed following the crisis.
