Mumbai, July 16 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar paid tribute to Dr Deepak Tilak, the great-grandson of freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak, former vice-chancellor of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and Trustee Editor of the historic daily 'Kesari' who passed away today at his pune residence.

In his condolence message, Pawar said Dr Tilak made remarkable contributions in the fields of education, journalism, and social service.
