Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug. 2 -- In a significant political appointment, veteran journalist Bhagwat Thaware has been named Maharashtra state spokesperson for the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

The selection of Thaware, who hails from the rural Nalondi village in Beed district and comes from an agricultural family background, marks a strategic decision by the party to empower grassroots professionals in key communication roles.
