Ajay Rai slams Chaitanya Baghel's arrest, calls It political vendetta by BJP-led central government

Lucknow, July 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) President Ajay Rai has condemned the arrest of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's son, Chaitanya Baghel, calling it an act of political vendetta by the BJP-led central government.



In a statement shared on his social media account, Rai alleged that the government is targeting Congress leaders and workers through central agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED), CBI, and police to suppress their voices against anti-people policies.

"The arrest of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's son is part of this political revenge campaign," Rai said.
