Lucknow, Feb. 14 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress President, Ajay Rai, today announced that the Congress will gherao the State Assembly on Tuesday to protest against the policies of the BJP government and alleged atrocities against farmers.
He accused the central government of attempting to take away farmers' lands through new laws and claimed that the farming community is facing continuous exploitation.
"Farmers are being harassed at every level, and we will oppose this," said Rai while addressing a press conference here.
