Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, March 14 -- Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy has given approval to include famous caves at Ajanta and Ellora in the district, which are a historical heritage centre of tourism on the world map, in Swadesh Darshan Phase 2.0 project.
Notably, Union Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad had penned a letter to Reddy about tourism development in Marathwada region of Maharashtra under Swadesh Darshan 2.0.
After considering his request, Reddy recently conveyed to Dr Karad about inclusion of both of the heritage sites in Swadesh Darshan 2.0. Under this project, Ajanta and Ellora will be developed in tourism circuit.
