Aizawl, March 24 -- The Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC) has come under sharp criticism from auditors for alleged mismanagement and unnecessary expenditure amounting to crores of rupees on the maintenance of the solid waste management centre (SWMC) at Tuirial.
The findings were part of the Report of the Director of Local Fund Audit on the Accounts of Local Authorities for the financial years 2019-20 to 2022-23, which was recently tabled in the Mizoram Legislative Assembly by Chief Minister Lalduhoma.
