Aizawl, Oct. 16 -- Prominent social activist Vanramchhuangi, widely known as Ruatfela Nu, today formally complained to the Mizoram Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), urging the agency to investigate an alleged Rs. 4-5 crore misappropriation in the procurement of ginger.
The complaint follows recent revelations by State Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister P.C. Vanlalruata, who disclosed significant irregularities at the Secondary Collection Centres (SCCs) responsible for purchasing ginger from local farmers.
