Jerusalem, June 14 -- Air raid alert has been announced in a number of areas in Israel due to the launch of drones from the territory of Iran, the Israeli Defence Forces said on Saturday.
"Sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of UAVs launched from Iran toward the State of Israel," the IDF said.
In the meantime, the Israeli Air Force was operating to intercept the drones and to eliminate the threat, the IDF said. People were asked to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command, the IDF added.
