Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas on Thursday took over as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Training Command of the Indian Air Force.
After assuming charge, the Air Marshal paid homage to the bravehearts by laying a wreath at the Training Command War Memorial here.
An alumnus of the National Defence Academy(NDA), Air Marshal Shrinivas was commissioned into the fighter stream of the IAF on June 13, 1987. A 'Category A' Qualified Flying Instructor, he has logged over 4,200 hours of flying experience on a wide range of aircraft, including MiG-21, Iskra, Kiran, PC-7 Mk II, HPT-32 and microlite aircraft.
