New Delhi, May 13 -- In a significant travel disruption, both Air India and IndiGo have announced the cancellation of flights to several northern and western Indian cities for Tuesday, citing "latest developments" and prioritising the safety of passengers. On Tuesday, national carrier Air India announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh, and Rajkot. Late on Monday night, private airline IndiGo issued a similar advisory, suspending its operations to and from Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Srinagar, and Rajkot.
