New Delhi, March 13 -- Air India and its subsidiary Air India Express will operate a combined total of 78 scheduled and chartered flights to and from destinations in the West Asia region on Friday as the airlines work to maintain connectivity amid the evolving situation in the Middle East.

The services are being operated across multiple routes linking Indian cities with key West Asian hubs to accommodate passenger demand and ensure continuity of travel, even as airlines remain cautious and continue to assess developments in the region.
