Mumbai, March 12 -- Amid rising tensions in West Asia linked to the ongoing conflict involving the Israel-US combine, and Iran, Air India and Air India Express have scheduled a total of 58 flights to and from the region to maintain air connectivity with India. The services, including both scheduled and special non-scheduled operations, began operating from Thursday, March 12, according to airline sources.

The flight operations are aimed at ensuring continued travel links between India and key destinations in West Asia during the ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
