Kochi, Dec. 7 -- With travellers across India continuing to face severe disruptions, Air India and Air India Express have announced a set of nationwide measures aimed at easing the difficulties of stranded passengers and ensuring more predictable travel conditions.
The airlines have placed caps on economy-class fares for all non-stop domestic flights from December 4, preventing automatic fare hikes triggered by increased demand.
Both carriers have also begun aligning with the Ministry of Civil Aviation's latest directive on monitored fare caps issued on December 6, a release said.
