Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, July 31 -- Former AIMIM MP and party state president Imtiaz Jaleel has called upon the Maharashtra government to urgently appeal the Malegaon bomb blast acquittal verdict to the Supreme Court, demanding action free from political, religious, or caste considerations.

Reacting to the special NIA court's decision of clearing all accused due to insufficient evidence, Jaleel described the matter as "very serious".

He urged the state administration to approach the apex court for a review of the verdict, mirroring its handling of the Mumbai local train bomb blast case.
