Dharamshala, Aug. 26 -- All India Journalists Unity Association(AIJUA)'s Himachal Pradesh president Rakesh Kathuria on Tuesday urged the state government to constitute a Journalist Welfare Board to safeguard the rights and interests of journalists in the state.

Kathuria alleged that journalists in Himachal Pradesh are facing injustice, which cannot be tolerated. He said that once a welfare board is formed, journalists would be able to raise their grievances effectively, as presently, there is no platform at the government level where their issues are heard.
