Hyderabad, July 10 -- In a pioneering initiative to foster innovation at the intersection of medicine and technology, AIIMS Bibinagar and the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at IIIT Hyderabad today jointly conducted the MedCare AI Impact Hackathon at AIIMS Bibinagar Campus in Bibinagar, outskirts of the city.
The event brought together doctors, medical students, researchers, and deep-tech innovators to co-create scalable, AI-driven healthcare solutions.
Over 65 ideas were submitted for the challenge, of which 17 promising teams were shortlisted for the final round.
The top five teams were awarded early-stage program funding, access to IIITH's research labs, and incubation support under a joint CIE-AIIMS initiative.
