Bhubaneswar, Oct. 17 -- The Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) at AIIMS Bhubaneswar has been awarded the prestigious Silver Award by the union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for its exemplary contributions in viral diagnostics, research, and quality services.
The award was presented during the VRDL Conclave organized by the Department of Health Research (DHR) at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, which recognized top-performing laboratories and reviewed the progress of the national VRDL network.
Dr. Baijayantimala Mishra, Head of the Department of Microbiology, and Dr. Bhagirathi Dwibedi, Associate Dean Research and Professor of Paediatrics, received the award on behalf of AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
