Chennai, Oct. 28 -- The much-delayed annual general meeting of the All India Chess Federation to be held in Goa will discuss important issues, including India hosting the 2030 Chess Olympiad, other international events, apart from some controversial issues.

Normally, the AICF AGM is held in June, but this time it will be held on October 30 in Goa, where the FIDE World Cup chess tournament is being held.

It is learnt that the audited accounts have not been circulated to the members along with the AGM notice and the agenda.

One of the agenda items is to invite an Expression of Interest to host the 2030 Chess Olympiad and other international events.
