Bokaro, Nov. 22 -- The All India Central Council of Trade Unions (AICCTU) has strongly criticised the four labour codes implemented by the Central Government, alleging that the new laws undermine workers' rights and favour corporate interests.
The organisation said the codes reflect the old saying "Khata na bahi, jo malik kahe woh sahi," meaning that workers' concerns have been completely sidelined.
AICCTU leaders termed the four labour codes a "black code" for the country's labour force.
The union, along with other central trade unions and the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, has announced a nationwide protest on November 26 to oppose the new labour regime.
