Srinagar, Sept. 22 -- The All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary in charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Naseer Hussain, today accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of colluding with the BJP to manipulate elections in several states.
Addressing a "Voter Adhikar Sammelan" (Voter Rights Conference) in Chandanwari Uri, Hussain termed the alleged "vote theft" an assault on the country's democratic system. He cautioned people against the theft of their mandate by the current government at the Centre with the full support of the ECI.
