Shimla, March 10 -- All India Congress committee on Sunday formed a six-member panel for better coordination between the government and the party organisation in Himachal Pradesh.

The decision was taken days after the Chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government plunged into a crisis following cross-voting by six party MLAs in the February 27 Rajya Sabha polls in the state. As a result of the cross-voting, the Congress candidate senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi lost the poll.

Later, the six Congress legislators were disqualified.
