Chennai, Nov. 20 -- The main Opposition AIADMK today staged a protest demonstrationagainst the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu for its alleged interference and attempts to derail theongoing SIR exercise in the State.
The agitation, organised by the Chennai Districts Committee and held at the EgmoreRajarathinam stadium in the city, was led by senior AIADMK leader and former MinisterD Jayakumar.
Senior AIADMK leaders, and a large number of cadres, carrying party flags and placards,took part in the protest demonstration and shouted slogans denouncing the DMK for itsalleged interference in the SIR exercise.
