New Delhi, July 8 -- The new CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Optus, an Australian telecommunications major, Stephen Rue, emphasized the AI's role in transforming telecommunications. But he deliberately pointed to the fact that humans will remain a central part of the company.
Optus is a fully owned subsidiary of Singaporean telecommunications giant Singtel. It's the second-largest Australian telecom company with a mobile network of up to 98.5% of the Australian population.
