Hyderabad, Feb. 8 -- Cyient Founder Chairman and Board Member Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy said that though AI will impact repetitive jobs in the short term, it will generate huge employment opportunities from 2026-27.
Speaking at the Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) Leadership Conclave 2025, here on Saturday, Dr Reddy emphasized the need for individuals and organizations to adapt to technological advancements to stay competitive.
The conclave was held to mark the HMA's golden jubilee celebration.
During a fireside chat with PwC Partner Rajesh Duddu, the Cyient Founder Chairman traced AI's evolution, noting that the first PhD in AI was awarded to an Indian, Raj Reddy, at Stanford University in 1961.
