Hyderabad, Dec. 1 -- The Artificial Intelligence University, being set up in collaboration with leading global institutions, will commence operations in the next two months, Telangana IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said.

The university will provide advanced training in emerging technologies, enabling both software professionals and graduating students to upgrade their skills for the AI-driven future.

The Minister made the announcement while inaugurating Covasant's AI Innovation Centre on Monday. He said the centre currently has a workforce of about 500 engineers and is preparing to scale up significantly by adding 3,000 jobs over the next two years.
